It’s a real honor to be part of this feature, and I hope it helps more travelers discover the hidden gems of Japan.
I’m truly honored that they introduced my site in one of their Featured page list. 47trip is a hotel ranking website that also publishes features about sightseeing spots across Japan, helping travelers discover the best places to visit.
It’s wonderful to see my website included, and I hope it will inspire even more people to explore Japan.
I guide the guest from Houston, USA, 4 members of family (2 kids + parents). We go to Asakusa, Senso-ji temple and see the famous gate (Thunder gate) with big lantern. This big lantern is 3.5m in diameter and 300 papers are used. It’s donated by Panasonic (Famous electric manufacturer in Japan). Every 10 years, this lantern is renovated. The founder of Panasonic, Konosuke Matsusita, came here and pray at this temple. At that time, he suffered from back pain, but he recover after it.
Then he believe in this temple and donate big lantern. At lunch we move to Tsukiji, fish market (the center of Sushi culture) and see Tuna cutting show. Then we move to Ueno and see Ueno park, especially visit fox shrine with red Torii gate. It is a nice walking tour in holiday.
We met our guests at the station of Takao-san-guchi at 9:15.
At the station of cable car, we saw the wild white flower (Sekkoku in Japanese), that was so beautiful. We went on trail of Route No1, and the nature in June is so comfortable for us.
We were reached to Yakuo-in temple in the middle of Mt.Takao. In front of the main hall, there were a large incense burner. Worshipers light incense sticks and wave the smoke over themselves as spiritual purification before praying. This tradition is especially popular among students preparing for entrance exams. It is said that waving the smoke over your head makes you smarter, so many students hope for academic success by doing this. Our guests enjoyed this traditional experience, saying “I want to be the professor”. It looks very happy
On the top of the mountain, we enjoy the lunch. On the return way, we go through the suspension bridge, it is going to be the great fun !!
I’m honored that they highlight my website. Japan Kart introduces a go-kart tour experience through the streets of Tokyo. It’s a fun, exciting way to explore the city.
Their web site really made me want to try their tour myself—it’s the perfect mix of sightseeing and adventure!
